We offer crop protection advise and products tailored to your farming system. With a specialism in mixed livestock/arable production, we can offer full support from sowing to harvest for a wide range of forage and arable crops.
Our approach is fully in line with current IPM guidance, providing seamless integration of on farm activity and IPM reporting for current and future SFI schemes in Wales and England.
We supply a full range of professional plant protection products from our Montgomeryshire store. As an independent merchant, we handle all deliveries, ensuring products arrive reliably on farm when they are needed. Will is BASIS and FACTS qualified and can advise on crop protection,
nutrition and IPM.
We also provide consultation for Soil Management, Nutrient Management and Integrated Pest Management for SFI and crop assurance schemes. When used alongside our agronomy services, you will have a fully compliant set of reports that not only satisfy the schemes but offer practical information for use on farm helping drive crop production.

Soil Testing

Soil health is vital to growing successful high yielding arable and forage crops as well as maintaining new and established grass leys. Before application of expensive fertilisers it is advisable to have an understanding of the nutrient availability within the soil. Without the correct pH, P and K levels, it can be difficult for crops to utilise nitrogen applications. For some crops it can be beneficial to have a broader understanding of the trace elements contained in your soil allowing you to plan your fertiliser requirements more effectively.
